Raw burst tart cranberries, earthy maca, golden maple syrup, and coconut; bite-sized Hazelnut Energy Balls.
Take a harmonious balance of undertones. And, delight.
This dish will overcome any belief that vegan food can’t be tantalising charming.
When to make:
Make this:
- When you’ve got a long gruelling hike and need light refreshments
- When your kiddies have a day trip out. They need a snack to keep them energised. And, some left over if they share with their friends
- When you’ve just done a punishing kick-boxing class. A nice refreshing snack will keep you merry
What inspired me:
I was inspired to make Hazelnut Energy Balls when taking a road trip to Snowdon. We needed bite-sized treats to keep us reenergised. The taste of the unusual caramelly taste of maca combines well with the fruit and nut to create an energy that picks you up during a dull moment. I use them as a snack whenever I am in need of one in the day.
Recipe Highlights:
- This dish is raw, vegan and paleo
- Bursting with tart cranberries, earthy maca, golden maple syrup, and coconut
- A perfect balance of sweet, nutty, and tangy undertones
- A tantalising treat that proves vegan food can be just as charming and satisfying
